The European Commission’s H2020 call topic for an ERA-NET Cofund scheme, dedicated to the strengthening of gender equality measures in research and innovation across the EU, has been opened on April 13th 2016.
This new ERA-NET Cofund scheme is explicitly designed to build on the GENDER-NET finding and activities, to further develop collaboration between national research programme owners and managers, through joint programming initiatives and, networking activities, with an EC top-up up to EUR 5 million. By mobilizing Member States and Associated Countries funding, and scaling it up, the aim is also to contribute to the implementation of the gender priority of the ERA Roadmaps.
A specific meeting dedicated to this call was organized by CNRS and took place at DG Research in Brussels on 18-19 April 2016 gathering both GENDER-NET partners and key national-level organisations from outside the project consortium, interested in learning more about this funding scheme.
